MARCH 2007 PRAYER POINTS

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

1. Pray that the glory of God and His holiness would continue to be revealed among His people, and that the Church of God would be conscious of the need to become more holy. (Is.6:1-5) Let’s seek peace and holiness, and we will see God (Heb 12:14).

2.  Pray that the power of testimony of the Church and its tangible reality would have an impact not just in the life of the Church, but in the area of influence of every born again Christian. (1 Cor.1:4-7; Rev.12:11) Pray for boldness for God’s people, that they would live and act as people of His Kingdom and that we all would be actively involved for the advancement of the Kingdom in the hearts of the unbelievers.

Pray that the church would be released of any confusion, and that God would give us clarity to understand the seasons and what God wants to do in His church today.

Pray for unity in the Holy Spirit, in the churches and between churches; pray that the leaders would have an effective way of communication, for God’s Kingdom to advance in Romania. Pray against competition, disunity and diversion that the evil one is trying to bring in the church of the Lord in Romania.

Pray for revival of the Church, that the spirit of repentance and prayer would flood the church and that the Lord would bring times of refreshment. (Acts 3:19)

3. It is a time when the Holy Spirit  encourages the church to rise up and build, the same way that the people of Israel were exhorted by the prophet Haggai. Pray that we would set right our priorities, according to God’s will.  (Hag 1)

4. Pray that God would put enthusiasm and devotion in the heart of His people for missions, so that they would be willing to go to the ends of the earth and also support those called in the mission field.

5. Pray for Romania. Pray for our President, for the Parliament and the government of Romania – that God’s will would be done through them. Pray against confusion and lack of integrity in the power structures of Romania. Pray that God would reveal any schemes of the enemy and stop them. Pray that confusion, faction and tension in the authority structures would be stopped.  Continue to pray for stability of the land, for protection for Romania.

6. Continue to fast and pray for the law concerning non-orthodox denominations. Let us not grow weary in prayer for this reason, until we see the law changed, so that the freedom of God’s people in Romania would be restored. (In the book of Esther: after the first decree was given by Haman against the Jews, Mordecai and Esther wrote another decree that counteracted the power of the first one.) The Church of the Lord is called today as Esther was in that day.

7. Pray for Romania’s alliances in this season, that Romania would align to God’s plan for our nation. Pray for decision according to God’s will regarding international relationships, especially with the Middle East, Israel, NATO and European Union.
