Dear All,
Wishing you the best year of all (so far)!!! May 2006 be filled with unexpected surprises and
fulfilled dreams. I'm praying for the heavens to open and the reservoirs of stored up
blessings to flood over us and you too this year. I can't wait to see what God is going to do
with this next year.
Last year, 2005 ended with a flurry as we prepared for and hosted our three evening
evangelistic Christmas Crusade at our church. Our guest minister was Phil Rich, from
Oklahoma, USA. He is a man of God, raised and trained in the atmosphere of revival and
daily miracles. He came to give us freely from what he had received from the Lord over the
years.
In preparation, many from our church participated
in a 21 day fast. We prayed often and passionately
for God to come and make Himself known. The
few days before the Crusade began, we gave out
1,500 invitations on the street, and 500 more in
three local hospitals—the cancer hospital, the
hospital for heart problems and a general medicine
clinic. We also put up 200 posters around town
advertising the Crusade as a night of celebrating
Christmas and the miracles of God. As the Crusade
approached, we were filled with faith and great
anticipation about what God would do among us.
And we were not disappointed. Each night was highlighted by worship that fixed people's
eyes and hearts on our wonderful God. Phil then began ministry with anointed
teaching...raising everyone's faith level. And then the miracles started!
Phil often would receive specific words of knowledge about a person and their condition. As
the identified person would stand the power of God would fall on them. Or at other times
Phil would hear from God to have all with a particular condition to stand up or come forward.
Others would receive miracles from the "charged atmosphere". The presence of God was so
heavy in the place. We saw miracle after miracle.
Here are a few highlights:
My widow friend and former neighbor, Susi (age 82) who we affectionately call our
"church grand ma" came to the Crusade very weak and sick, in pain and with great difficulty
walking. In fact on the way to church, she told me that she felt that God was calling her
home because she had never felt this bad before. We practically carried her up the stairs and
she agonized with every step toward a seat in the front of the church. But then!!!! Late in the
service Phil took her by the hand and said God wanted to heal her legs. She stood up and was
touched so powerfully by God that she took off running up and down the aisle of the church,
to the amazement and joyful applause of the whole gathering. (I visited her yesterday and
she is doing better than I seen her in years, walking up and down stairs with no assistance and
no pain!)
Razvan (age 19) was saved at our camp in September and has been coming to our church
since. An avid soccer player, Razvan severely tore a ligament in his knee three years ago and
has lived with pain ever since. One night at the crusade he was healed completely! The pain

completely disappeared and he could run and jump with no problem. He can now cancel the
surgery and best of all, he can play soccer again!
Cristina (age 30+) came to all three meetings of the Crusade. The first night she came
mainly for the healing of two friends that weren't in the meeting. But in the process she got
healed too! The first night a heart problem disappeared. The next day she noticed that she
could do anything she wanted without getting winded. The second night she got healing in
her back and by the third night she was asking for inner healing. She got radically saved and
has committed to make Antioch Christian Center her new church home. She is hungry for
more of God and He got much bigger in her eyes in those few days.
Elena (40+) came to the meeting directly from her bed at the cancer hospital. She had been
diagnosed with tumors on her ovaries, a cancer in late stages. Basically she had been told
there was no hope for her, but still they were treating her with radiation. She was desperate
for healing. By the leading of the Holy Spirit Phil had picked her out every night for healing
of one thing of the other. On the final evening, he was proclaiming her complete healing
from tumors. She asked if she could come forward for his prayer. She came and we laid
hands on her... it was like she wanted physical contact with each one of us and with Phil too.
She wanted what we have. She too committed her life to Jesus, receiving the greatest gift of
all – salvation. We are waiting to hear an update after another series of tests, expecting to
hear of her complete restoration.
Dorica (17) from our church and a member of the worship team received a dental miracle.
She had a tooth growing out at a wrong angle and was causing problems with other teeth and
her gums. The dentist had said that it must be pulled. But during the days of the Crusade,
that tooth miraculously shifted and moved into its correct position.
I could go on and on with stories of still others that were healed. It was such a wonderful
time of watching God demonstrate His goodness and His power. What a privilege for us to
have front row seats! And the greatest miracle of all, about 30 people gave their lives to
Jesus!
But Phil's ministry didn't stop there. After the Crusade ended, he also met with the group of
our core people for two evenings. We were so blessed to hear him share more from the
wealth of revelation and passion for God that was in him. He ended by ministering
prophetically to each of us individually. I am pondering in my own heart what God spoke to
me then, but needless to say I was greatly encouraged and looking forward to that word being
fulfilled in my life. He also prophesied over the church and again we heard about
revival...coming to us and to the city and sweeping through this whole country. That really
stirs up our hearts! We have such an expectation of God breaking out of the heavens and
coming to earth during this next year. This has really turbo charged our prayer meetings!

I know this letter is getting long, but there are two other things I want to mention. So please
pour yourself a coffee or a coke, but do keep reading....
Before the Crusade, our pastors set a faith goal to bless Phil Rich with $1000. When they
first heard the goal, our people moaned. If you know anything at all about the economic
situation in Romania you will realize, like we did what an impossibly high goal this was. The
average salary in Romania is about $150/month. But many of our members are students and
make much less than that, or nothing at all. But they were determined to bless the man of
God and even put their most precious belongings in the offering baskets: jewelry, watches,
mobile phones, one man gave his wallet with all the money he had—just a few coins. But do
you know with our 60 people plus the offerings at the Crusade itself.... WE DID IT! We put
$1000 cash into Phil's hand as God had put into the hearts of our pastors. Even today I can't
tell you how we met that goal. My only explanation is Jesus took our fish and loaves and
multiplied them.
Finally I want to say what a privilege it was for me to sit with my pastors, David and Mihaela
Norton and Phil Rich. We sat for hours and hours and just listened to Phil tell story after
story of miracles that he had seen God do over the years. He told us of one meeting in the
USA where 13 lame people stood up out of wheelchairs and walked and jumped and praised
God! Another meeting in Mexico when 200 women were healed of cancerous tumors!
Wow! Look what can happen in ONE meeting! He spoke of a time when he was praying for
a blind boy in Indiana. As Phil looked into the boy's eyes he say only white milky masses, but
as he continued to pray, he saw God create his iris and pupil and then suddenly he could see!
He told of two other occasions where he saw the dead prayed for and they came back to life
(not just passed out---but dead! DEAD!) This stirred up my faith and I see that God can do
still greater things than we have even imagined. And what I want to see is those kind of
miracles happening HERE in Cluj and through OUR hands. Why not?! If God did it there,
He can do it here too! That is the longing of my heart! To see a spiritual tsunami, a mighty
move of God sweep across this land! Shaking His church awake, shaking the society,
transforming the place and the people forever. If revival happened in Wales, it can happen
here! If it happened at Azuza Street, it can happen here!
Thanks so much for standing with me. I so appreciate your every prayer, your every
encouragement. I believe that the best is yet to come... and it is coming soon!
His and yours,
Suzie
