2005 HIGHLIGHTS

This year was highlighted by the birth of a church and all year there has been an "all hands on

deck" call to take care of this new and growing life that is in our care. We have seen rapid growth and

a rapid succession of miracles in our midst. It has been quite an adventure and it has been an honor to

be a

Antioch Christian Center

Our church "Antioch Christian Center" is named after the church in Acts known as a giving,

training and sending church. They raised a high standard for us to follow.

By spring, we had already outgrown our

meeting place in Mihaela's and David's

apartment, so we began to rent a space with 186

seats. Growing room! We currently have 50-60

people coming to our meetings.

With anointed worship and teaching,

we experience God's presence in a way that

charges the atmosphere and where anything can

happen! Every meeting we have a ministry

time where we invite people forward for prayer and we invite God to come and meet people at the

altar. That is where we see God do miracles among us! Healings, deliverances, salvation, inner

healing, prophetic words all work together to build up the individual and the church. God is making a

name for Himself!

Children's Outreach

Every week during the summer, outreaches for kids gathered dozens, even as many as a

hundred kids. The kids loved the music, clowns, skits, games and even the Bible messages. Older

kids and adults also gathered

around the edges while the

younger children were

thoroughly entertained. Now

with cold weather, the programs

have moved indoors but

continue to make an impact on

kids in the neighborhood. At

one meeting, after the gospel

was explained, 45 children prayed to ask Jesus into their hearts.

For Me Personally

This year has been a wonderful year of breakthrough and blessing. It has been a year of

moving from one level of glory to another as God firmly plugs me into just the right place in a church

planting effort. I am being stretched and challenged and I am growing in faith, all at the same time.

My gifts are being used and what's more, increasing. I am so thrilled at what God is doing in me and

also so pleased to be used by Him to build His kingdom.

Radical Life Camp

We named this evangelistic camp, "Radical Life Camp 2005"

because that is what we wanted God to do in each life. We had 83

participants total at the camp: 23 of us staff and 60 participants...probably

50 of which were non-Christians. We had 8 people on staff whose only job

was to pray. They prayed between 4-7 hours per day for the campers and

for God to move among us and as a result, the heavens opened.

Miracles at Camp

The greatest miracle of all is salvation. Best we can tell about 40+ young people dedicated

their lives to Jesus. One young man, Mircea brought 13 of his friends with him. He was radically

saved along with "his whole household". Every single one of his friends was saved too.

We saw healings of various types, some examples:

One man had a knee problem that was healed at camp. He had been scheduled for an operation

shortly after the camp. Now he can cancel the surgery!

One young man's back problem was healed. After years of suffering he was completely healed.

He laid awake all night considering the miracle God had done in his life.

Another girl was healed of a bad stomach ache. When she realized she was healed, she began to

jump up and down and scream with joy.

Other miracles:

A CD walkman was "healed" when two staff members prayed for it! ;-)

Romania experienced rain all summer, half of the country was effected by flooding. A few days

before camp there was rain, flooding and landslides in the area of the camp facility. But we

prayed. The week of the camp was absolutely dry and full of sunshine! One day it clouded up

and looked like a downpour. We prayed again and the clouds literally parted. There were thick

clouds over the mountains to the left and right, but directly overhead, sunshine!

A girl heavily involved in Satanism, gave her life to Jesus and was delivered of many nasty

demons.

Follow-up and discipleship

We have worked at getting our core people involved with follow up and building the basics

into the many new believers that came to church after camp. There has been a real upgrade among

our core people. We see more involvement and a deepening level of commitment. A great growth

spurt is taking place as God raises up workers for the harvest. Follow-up after camp has been a two

pronged effort: building relationships and teaching the basics. People's lives are being transformed

and many are growing steadily.

A secondary but wonderful phenomenon is occurring. As young people are seeing more and

more miracles happen among us, both at church and outside of church, they are beginning to have a

greater expectation for yet more miracles to happen. That expectation is pulling something from

heaven and from the heart of God. Here are just a few examples.

SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!!!!

HEALINGS

Andreea (17 years old), one of our clowns for the children's outreach, fell down and broke her

arm. She went to David and Mihaela's house and they prayed for her. She was healed on the

spot and all pain just disappeared! She then went for an x-ray and to the doctor. The doctor's

conclusion as he looked at the x-ray, her arm looked like one that had just come out of a cast.

The bones had obviously been broken but they had healed nicely too.

Ramona (17 years old) called Suzie by mobile phone one evening to talk about school, church and this and

that. Ramona mentioned that her kidneys hurt. Suzie told Ramona to put her hand on her kidneys and then

started praying. After a minute or so Suzie asked, "OK how do you feel?" You could hear the joy and

amazement in Ramona's voice as she said, "I don't feel anything! I mean, it doesn't hurt anymore." Healing by

mobile phone. Adds a whole new concept to mobile phone services!

Timi's (19 years old) eyesight was healed during camp. He no longer

needs his glasses. The last night of camp, in testimony to what God

had done, he laid his glasses on the stage and took a chair and crashed

it over the top of his glasses. This was a powerful symbolic act that

communicated loudly, "I won't be needing these anymore!"

Susi (83 years old), is our church "grandma". Recently she was suffering with various ailments

that were causing her severe pain in a number of places in her body. Suzie went and prayed for

her. Susi stood up and walked around... a little stiff at first but then freer and freer. After 10

minutes of praying together, she was getting up and down with no pain! Ten minutes after Suzie

left, the swelling in her knees "deflated" and she actually felt good! Praise God!

DELIVERANCES

Alexandra (15 years old) was heavily involved in Satanism, gave her life to Jesus and was delivered of many

nasty demons.

Monica (20 years old) meets with Suzie weekly for counseling. She came to Antioch Christian Center at

Suzie's invitation to hear a message about “Getting and staying Free”. For her, everything was new and strange;

she was uncomfortable, but sat through the message. She caught a hold of the truth, went home and asked her

lovely Baptist mom to pray for her against a spirit of fear. Suddenly Monica had to cough and clear her throat

repeatedly (deliverance). She said she felt like something gathered up in her throat and then left as her mom

prayed. Then she felt such peace that lasted several days.

MONEY MIRACLES

Cosmin comes from Deva to go to university here in Cluj. One day after getting a bite to eat at

a restaurant, he reached in his pocket to pull out his 200,000 lei ($6)/ Much to his pleasant

surprise, he saw in his hand not 200,000 but 1,200,000 lei! God created $30 in his pocket!

Irina (18 years old) regularly attends our church though she has not yet given her life to Jesus. Knowing she

had no money, she was shocked to find 100.000 lei ($3) in her wallet. She has no explanation, except God. She

was so shocked that days later she still couldn’t fully comprehend what had happened to her!

Dorica sings with our worship team. She was completely out of money. But she prayed

asking God to provide 200,000 lei so that she could buy some groceries for herself and her

brother. Moments later, she found that exact amount in her previously empty wallet. On

another occasion, she didn't even have money for a bus ticket and she was across town. She

appealed to her Good Father. A few minutes later she found that a bus ticket had appeared

in her pocket. God is really a very practical help in times of need!

OTHER SPECIAL MIRACLES

It usually takes Alex (17 years old) around 30 minutes to get to school by bus, but on one particular morning,

traffic was heavy and he expected the bus would take at least 40 minutes. Leaving his house at 7:50, he was

stressed knowing he was supposed to be at school at 8:00 i.e. 10 minutes! So Alex prayed that God would help

him to get to school on time, and he got there right at 8:00. A 40-minute trip took 10 minutes!

A broken CD walkman was "healed" when two staff members prayed for it! ;-)

Andreea (22 years old) received an SMS (text message on her mobile phone) from her roommate, "Pray for me

right now. I really need it!" So Andreea prayed and then called Faith (17 years old), to see what was going on.

Faith was surprised with Andreea asking about why she needed prayer. Faith HAD written an SMS, but it was

an entirely different message asking Andreea what time she was coming home. As Andreea and Faith compared

what had happened, Faith admitted that she had been feeling sicker and sicker, when she wrote the SMS. God

called Andreea to prayer, "translating" Faith's message. Faith suddenly started feeling better as a result of

Andreea's prayers

During prayer ministry at a church service, Suzie asked David to pray for a young man. She informed David,

“He wants prayer for healing.” David distinctly heard Suzie to say, “Pray for his knee.” David moved in and

immediately started praying for the young man’s knee…that was indeed injured and painful. The young man

was healed and mystified, how did we know about his knee?!! As we talked about it, we realized that God had

intervened in the conversation
