The adventure continues!
In my 20+ years as a missionary, (in Romania
since 1990) I have been
involved in many different exciting ministries and seen God do so
many amazing things. But quite honestly, nothing compares to
what has been happening for the last years.
At the beginning of the year
2005, the Lord led me very clearly to link up with a married couple,
David (American) and Mihaela (Romanian) Norton to help plant a New
Testament church here in Cluj. Starting as a prayer meeting, and
then quickly becoming a house church meeting in the Norton's living
room, things moved forward quickly and in supernatural ways.
We moved to a rented building
and continued to grow numerically and see young men and women mature
before our very eyes. They were on the fast tack and quickly
changed from being our disciples to our co-workers in ministry.
Before starting in this new
ministry, I could have never imagined myself involved with a church
planting effort. But now, I bit down the road, it seems to me that
everything that I ever did in my Christian life and as a missionary was
preparing me for this time and this place. This is such an amazing
feeling...knowing I am here for such a time as this.
Our journey has been marked by
many amazing demonstrations of God's power-- healings, deliverances, and
salvations. It really has been the best years of my life and I am
convinced that the best is still to come. |
